Founded in 1956, Our Lady of Grace Parish was established to serve the growing Catholic community in El Cajon. One year later, Our Lady of Grace Catholic School opened its doors, beginning a lasting tradition of forming students in faith, service, and academic excellence. Inspired by the charisms of the Sisters of the Most Precious Blood and the Sisters of Mercy, we answer the call to be disciples of Christ—embracing His reconciling love and extending His compassion through service to others. For nearly seven decades, our multi-generational school community has remained vibrant and welcoming, where students are prepared to lead with integrity, rooted in Gospel values and committed to transforming the world with knowledge, faith, and grace. As we continue to build on this legacy, we look ahead with joy to all that lies ahead.

The mission of Our Lady of Grace Catholic School is to form Christ-centered disciples, grounded in faith and knowledge, to become servant leaders.

We are dedicated to preparing moral leaders of the future by integrating Gospel values, service, and academic excellence within a safe, Christ-centered environment. With a focus on evangelization, we recognize the Eucharist as the Source and Summit of our faith, striving to grow in our discipleship toward the fulfillment of our vocation to be holy.
