Engineering in Action: 8th Grade Rocket Launch
Today our 8th graders took learning to new heights with their final bottle rocket launch! After studying rocketry principles, experimenting with design features, and testing prototypes, students recorded flight data and made thoughtful iterations to improve performance. Using what they learned from each test launch, teams refined their rockets for today’s culminating flight. The result was an exciting showcase of engineering, problem-solving, and perseverance as students watched their designs soar through the sky. What a fantastic hands-on demonstration of science in action!
