Anchored on Grace- 1st Grade Retreat
Our first grade students participated in a meaningful and joy-filled retreat centered on the theme of being anchored in grace. Throughout the day, students rotated through a variety of engaging and faith-filled activities, including a music and movement station, a storytelling and action-based exploration of Paul's Shipwreck, a building a paper chain and anchor for their 1st grade community station, and a hands-on edible craft as they built Noah's Ark.
Each experience invited students to deepen their understanding of faith through creativity and reflection. A special focus of the retreat encouraged students to think about their worries and how they can trust in God, allowing Him to be their steady anchor through all of life’s moments. This beautiful day nurtured both hearts and minds, reminding our students that they are always held in God’s grace.
