We would like to encourage your participation. All proceeds of this program will go into our classroom renovation fund. This fund was begun last year with your generous "Fund-an-Item" dollars.
A wide and varied list of vendors is being offered, and gift cards make wonderful gifts for Christmas, but also birthdays, weddings, teacher gifts, graduations, Father's Day, births, or any occasion. Don't forget those landscapers, mail carriers, babysitters, clients, etc. Put a few restaurant gift certificates aside for those events such as unexpected out-of-town guests, etc., or treat your family to an evening out.
A new feature of the program was suggested by you, the parents. It allows you to gift a staff member by buying scrip. You buy any dollar amount, that amount goes into the staff member's account, and you receive a lovely certificate with which to gift the teacher. This way the staff member can choose the vendor she desires and you are not forced to meet the set denominations on the order form or choose among the vendors. Please see your room parent or scrip cashier for more information.
Of course, swiping your grocery cards adds up. Please encourage all your friends, relatives, co-workers, and neighbors to register a card in the name of OLG and keep swiping! Your participation does matter greatly! We thank all of you, as always, for your valued and continued support.
