The Extended Care Program provides quality child care at the school site for students in grades K-6. Loving, caring, qualified, committed staff have created a safe, stimulating environment, and have developed a planned schedule that promotes the students' spiritual, academic, social, emotional, and physical development. Activities include outdoor play/games, snack, supervised homework, reading, and arts/crafts.
Extended Care is offered every school day beginning at 6:45 a.m. and after school until 6:00 p.m. On minimum days care is available from 12:00 noon.
Extended Care began on Thursday, August 31. Rates are the same as last year. The Extended Care Guidelines for 2006/2007are in today's family envelope. Please be aware there is an additional fee of $10 for not notifying the school of reservation cancellations. All parents using this service must have the emergency information sheets (lavender) turned in before sending their child to Extended Care. It is strongly recommended that parents fill out and return the Extended Care emergency sheet even if there is no intentto use Extended Care at this time. Emergency situations do arise (flat tires, traffic, disabled cars, etc.). Sometimes we are called and instructed to place a child in Extended Care due to an unplanned occurrence. The Extended Care Telephone # is 697-8273. Please make a note of this for future reference. The telephone is connected during Extended Care hours only (3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.). This convenience is for emergency contact ONLY.
BILLING FOR EXTENDED CARE-All families using Extended Care will be billed once a month. Bills will be sent home the first of each month beginning October 1. Payments are due immediately.
