Fourth Grade - Ms. Tromley

Welcome to Fourth Grade!
My name is Maureen Tromley and I am so happy to be a part of the OLG community!

I was born and raised right here in San Diego . I was lucky enough to have attended and graduated from The Academy of Our Lady of Peace.
After high school, I moved to Eugene, Oregon to attend the University of Oregon for my undergraduate degree. In order to pursue my lifelong passion of learning and working with children, I chose to attend Portland State University for their exceptional Graduate Teacher Education Program. In the spring of 2013, I graduated from PSU with a Masters of Education and my teaching credential. After graduation, I sought some adventure and moved to Spain during the years 2013-2015, where I taught English at two elementary schools! Most recently, I taught 3rd grade at St. Peter the Apostle in Fallbrook and feel so blessed to be able to continue working within the San Diego Diocese!

In my free time, I love to read and to spend time with my family. I also have a passion for travel and immersing myself in new cultures. I try to explore new places and learn new things as often as I can. I hope to instill this love of learning in each  of my students through hands-on, inquiry based lessons and activities in a classroom environment in which students feel safe and challenged.
