    Dear OLG families,

Welcome back to another promising and exciting year here at Our Lady of Grace! This year is very special to me because, as the new librarian, I am able to guide your children in their search for books and, in turn, their awareness of the beauty in the world. My love for reading and for passing along my knowledge enables me to really appreciate what an opportunity I have been given!

I am so blessed to see their potential and help them to reach it. My job as the librarian is so special because I am able to supplement the lessons the children receive in the classroom from their teachers. I can build and go into depth on subjects that interest the kids and watch them grow into eager readers!

My goals for this year will include expanding their knowledge, helping them grow in faith, nurturing a lifelong love for reading, and helping each student become a more rounded and aware individual. The school motto this year is beautiful and telling of my approach toward offering the literature OLG provides for your children: “Do small things with great love.” – Mother Teresa. I look forward to this year with the anticipation that my expectations will be exceeded and that I will be given the chance to get to know and love the exceptional children you have!

    Sincerely,
    Ms. Marie Dixon
